HOMEMADE SELF - RISING FLOUR

Southern cooks are used to using self-rising flour and may have their own recipes calling for that product. Remember that baking powder may lose some of its strength with age, so don't keep it on hand for more than a few months. 3 tbsp. baking powder 2 tsp. salt

Sift together three times. Store in tightly closed container.
