TOLLHOUSE COOKIE BRITTLE | |
1 c. butter 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt 1 c. sugar 2 c. sifted flour 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (semi-sweet) 1 c. finely chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine butter, vanilla and salt - blend well. Gradually beat in sugar - add flour, chocolate morsels and 3/4 cup walnuts. Mix well - press evenly into ungreased 15 x 10 inch pan. Sprinkle remaining nuts over top and press in lightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool - break into uneven pieces. Makes 1 3/4 pounds. |
