BUTTERSCOTCH SCOTTIES | |
6 oz. butterscotch chips 1/4 c. butter Crisco 1 c. brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder Melt over hot water the chips and shortening. Remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar. Cool 5 minutes and beat in the eggs and vanilla. Add the flour, salt and baking powder. May add nuts, chocolate chips or 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows. Grease 12"x8"x2" pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. |
