4 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. thawed frozen dairy whipped topping
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. each ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg
3/4 c. self-rising flour
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp. butter
4 sm. apples, cored, pared and thinly sliced
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In mixing bowl combine eggs, milk, whipped topping, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg; using electric mixer, beat until smooth. Gradually beat in flour and sugar and continue beating until mixture is thick and smooth.

Grease 10 inch pie plate or quiche dish with butter; arrange apple slices in plate in a single layer and sprinkle with lemon juice. Pour batter over fruit and, if desired, sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake until browned, 35-40 minutes.
