MORAVIAN CHICKEN PIE 
2 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. vegetable shortening
6-8 tbsp. cold water
3 c. finely chopped cooked chicken
1 1/4 c. chicken broth

PASTRY: Mix 2 cups of flour and salt. Cut in shortening to make even particles. Add water to form soft dough. Handle dough as little as possible. Roll out half the dough to fit a greased 10" pie plate.

FILLING: Combine chicken, flour, chicken broth, salt and pepper. Turn into pastry shell. Roll out remaining pastry to make top. Gash and cover pie. Pinch edges. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
