CORN FLITTERS 
1 1/3 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
2/3 c. creamed corn, canned
1/3 c. drained, canned whole kernel corn

In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. In a small mixing bowl beat egg and milk to blend. Stir in cream-style corn and whole kernel corn. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add the corn mixture and stir until mixed. Heat pan with oil and drop mixture by tablespoon just 3 or 4 at a time. Fry until brown, turning once, 3 to 4 minutes in all.
