BIBLE COOKIES 
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. butter, melted
Whites of 4 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. almond extract
Small pieces of paper with Bible verses on them

Combine flour, sugar, cornstarch and salt. In other bowl beat butter with whisk and whisk in whites well. Add milk and almond. Add dry ingredients. Drop 1 tablespoon on well-buttered cookie sheets 3 inches apart. Cook 8-10 minutes at 325 degrees.

Remove quickly with metal spatula. Slip onto clean cloth, (write Bible verses on inside slips of paper and fold them up ahead of time). Slip a Bible verse in middle of each round; fold cookie while still hot in half and half again to resemble a triangle (or fold over edge of a bowl to bend). Cookies will be very thin and crisp.
