4 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. minced onion
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 lb. ground chuck
1/4 lb. pork sausage
Lg. jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms

In 2 tablespoons butter, saute onion until golden. Meanwhile, in large mixing bowl, beat egg. Add milk and crumbs. Let stand 5 minutes. Add 1 1/4 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons sugar, the allspice, nutmeg, meats, and onion. Blend well with fork. In same skillet, heat 2 tablespoons butter. Form your meatballs and brown. Put spaghetti sauce in crock pot; add browned meatballs and simmer on low for 5 to 6 hours.
