3 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. white Karo
1 c. thin cream
1 c. ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 c. chopped nuts

In saucepan, mix together sugar, Karo, butter, thin cream, salt and mashed bananas. Stir over medium heat to 238 degrees, or until soft ball in cold water. Use wooden spoon. Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts. Let cool until pan feels warm to touch, then whip mixture until ready to pour. Pour into 8 x 8 inch pan and let cool. Cut into squares.
