ICE BOX CAKE
3 boxes graham crackers (original)
2 boxes pudding (vanilla instant)
2 boxes pudding (chocolate instant)
2 cups milk for "each box" of pudding
2 bananas, sliced
1 quart whipping cream
an aluminum foil roasting pan

Make a layer of graham crackers covering the bottom of the pan.

In a bowl, combine 2 boxes of chocolate in mixing bowl and 4 cups of milk. Whip up the pudding until it becomes thickened.

Pour over the graham crackers, spreading evenly to cover the crackers. Cover the chocolate with a layer of graham crackers.

In another mixing bowl, combine vanilla pudding mix with 4 cups of milk; whip it until it thickens. Spread a layer of vanilla over the graham crackers.

Now you have layer of graham crackers, chocolate pudding, another layer of grahams, and vanilla pudding.

Arrange another layer of graham crackers to cover the vanilla pudding completely.

To whip the cream, put it in a mixing bowl and beat until it holds peaks when the beaters are lifted from the bowl.

Spread a 3-inch layer of this whipped cream on top of the graham crackers.

Arrange thinly sliced bananas on top of the whipped cream.

Finally, crumble any remaining graham crackers over the whipped cream and bananas. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Thank you - that's my recipe for ice box cake!
