3 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi sweet chocolate chips
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Stir together butter, sugar and milk in a heavy 3 quart saucepan, bring to full boil stirring constantly. Boil about 5 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees stirring constantly. Remove from heat and gradually stir in chocolate pieces. Add marshmallow cream and vanilla, mix until well blended. Pour into greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool at room temperature.
