ANGELS ON HORSEBACK 
1 (12 oz.) can shucked oysters, fresh or frozen
12 slices bacon, cut in half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. chopped parsley

Thaw frozen oysters. Drain oysters. Place each oyster on half a slice of bacon. Sprinkle with seasonings and chopped parsley. Roll bacon around oyster and fasten with toothpick. Place oysters on a rack in shallow baking pan. Bake in hot 450 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Remove toothpicks and serve hot. Makes approximately 24 appetizers.

NOTE: Angels on horseback may be placed on rounds of toast for serving.
