CHOCOLATE KISS SURPRISE COOKIES 
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour, sifted
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1 pkg. milk chocolate kisses
Confectioners' sugar (powdered sugar)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. At medium speed on mixer, beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add sifted flour and nuts. Beat until well blended. Remove foil from kisses. Use 1 tablespoon of dough and shape around the kiss to make a ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes until cookies are done, not brown. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.

Makes about 40 cookies.
