1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. hot pork sausage 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained and chopped 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. garlic and/or onion powder 2 loaves party rye bread Brown beef and sausage; drain. Add cheese, stir until melted. Add remaining ingredients. Spread on party rye bread. To make ahead of time, place on cookie sheet, cover, and freeze. When frozen, place in plastic bags for freezer storage. To serve, place on cookie sheet and bake or broil until done. Makes about 40. |
