1 c. yellow cornmeal
3 c. cold water
1 or 2 onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. Wesson oil
1 lb. ground beef
2 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 c. whole kernel corn
1/2 c. chopped ripe olives
2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1 c. grated cheese

Soak cornmeal in the water. Fry onions, pepper and garlic in the oil, then add meat and cook until lightly browned. Stir in the tomato sauce, drained cornmeal, corn, olives and seasonings. Mix well. Pour into a greased casserole dish and bake 60 minutes at 375 degrees. Add grated cheese after 30 minutes of baking.
