1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, lightly browned and drained; or shrimp
1 onion, chopped
Pepper and salt, to taste
Lumpia wrappers (from Oriental Food Store)
Optional additions: green beans, carrots, green pepper, cabbage, bean sprouts, etc.
Mix ground beef or shrimp with egg, onion, salt and pepper, plus any additional options you like. Place some of the mixture in each lumpia wrapper, roll and deep fry until wrapper is golden brown. Serve with rice. Can serve with sweet and sour sauce also.
