PERFECT SUNDAY DINNER ROLLS | |
1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. warm water 1/2 c. oil 1 tsp. salt 4 c. plain flour Add sugar to yeast and water. Beat eggs in warm water and add oil and salt. Add to the yeast and sugar mixture. Gradually add flour. This dough is rather sticky and will rise at least twice, so use large bowl. It is not necessary to knead the dough. Let stand overnight and make out in the morning by dividing the dough into about 4 parts. Be sure to use flour on the board or wax paper. Cut like a pie and roll large end to small end and place on greased pans. Let stand until you get home from church, then pop into the oven for 5 minutes at 375 degrees. |
