CHOCOLATE ROYAL PIE 
1 1/2 c. chocolate morsels
Milk (variable)
1 lg. box cooked chocolate pudding mix
1/2 c. crushed pecans
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins
1 c. coconut
2 deep dish pie shells
8 oz. Cool Whip
8 maraschino cherries

If using plain pie shells, perforate with a fork and brown according to directions. This is unnecessary with graham cracker shells.

Cook chocolate pudding using 1/2 cup less milk than pudding directions require. When thickened, let cool in large mixing bowl for 10 minutes. Mix together chocolate morsels, chopped pecans, raisins and coconut. Stir pudding and allow to sit another 5 to 10 minutes as needed to prevent total melting of the chocolate morsels. Then mix other combined ingredients into pudding while it is still very warm and spoon mixture into pie shells. Top with whipped topping and sprinkle with crushed nuts. Half one cherry and place half a cherry in the center of each pie. Divide each remaining cherry into 8 wedges and place equally spaced around the edges of each pie. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
