1 lb. ground beef
4 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 lg. chopped onion
1 green pepper, chopped
2 cans tomatoes
1 c. water
2 tbsp. salad oil
2 tbsp. flour
2 cans pinto beans or kidney beans

Brown ground beef; add chili powder, salt, sugar, onion, green pepper, tomatoes, and water. Simmer until all is cooked. Add rest of ingredients, mixing flour with liquid from beans for thickening.

NOTE: Great recipe for a cold winter day - double the recipe and Invite some folks for dinner!
