EASY GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. Swiss chocolate cake mix
1 1/4 c. water
3 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 1/4 c. + 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
7 oz. flaked coconut
1/3 c. milk

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9"x13" pan. Combine in large bowl: cake mix, 1 1/4 cups water, 3 eggs, and 1/2 cup oil. Mix at low speed until moistened and 2 minutes at medium speed. Stir in 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts. Pour into pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on rack for 1 hour.

TOPPING: Combine 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, 7 ounces flaked coconut, 1/3 cup milk and 3/4 cup nuts. Spread over cooled cake. Broil in oven 2 to 3 minutes.
