1 cup butter, softened
2 cups flour
1 3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup cola
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows Combine butter, flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, vanilla, eggs and buttermilk. Add cola, blend well and stir in marshmallows by hand. Pour into a greased pan and bake at 350°F. for 30-40 minutes. Cool for 30 minutes, then frost with Cola Frosting (see below). Cola Frosting: 1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/3 cup cola
4 cups powdered sugar Optional: Toast 1/2 cup almonds in oven and stir into frosting if desired. It adds a great flavor. |
