5 lb. hamburger 5 tsp. (rounded) Morton tender quick salt 2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed 2 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 2 tsp. Hickory smoked salt, dry or liquid Mix well in a large bowl and refrigerate. Take out each day for 3 days and knead well. On the 4th day, make into rolls, work back and forth well to remove all the air pockets so they will hold their shape. Lay on broiler pan and bake at 350 degrees for 8 hours. Makes 5 loaves about 8 to 9 inches long. |
