2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. finely grated carrots
2 tbsp. finely grated celery
2 tsp. dried parsley, crumbled finely
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 egg

Combine dry ingredients and blend. Cut in butter until mixture is like coarse meal. Add grated carrot, celery, milk and egg. Mix to make a stiff dough. Turn onto floured board and knead until dough is smooth (about 5 minutes).

Divide dough in thirds. Roll to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into squares or any shapes desired. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Prick crackers with a fork and bake at 375 degrees until light golden, about 5-7 minutes (watch baking time). Place on racks to cool. Store in an airtight container.
