1 to 3 lbs. frying chicken, pork chops, or fish
3/4 c. homemade shake coating

Moisten meat pieces with water. Shake one at a time in a plastic bag until well coated. Arrange in an unoiled baking pan in a single layer. Bake at 375 degrees F. until done. Chicken will take about 1 hour, pork chops about the same. Fish will cook in less time, depending on the size and thickness of the pieces.

Note: You can add garlic powder, onion seasonings, celery flakes, sesame seeds, or other seasonings according to the meat you are coating. For barbecued meat, add chili powder, garlic powder, a few drops of liquid smoke, and onion powder.
