Turn out on floured board, add a little flour and knead. Put in a buttered bowl and let rise 2 to 3 hours. Then turn out on a floured board, add a little flour and knead until dough doesn't stick to your hands. Cut dough in pieces. Roll into rolls and then cut into chunks a little larger than a walnut, put on dishes and put in refrigerator. Then when chilled, roll thin like a pencil. Shape like horseshoe pinching loose ends together. Roll in sugar. Put on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, then brown under broiler watching very carefully as they burn very easily. |
