1/3 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 1/2 - 3 lbs. fryer chicken parts
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. water
1 sm. onion, sliced

Combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika and coat chicken with flour mixture. Heat oil in large heavy skillet, brown remaining flour mixture in oil until golden brown, stirring constantly. Slowly stir in 1 1/2 cups water. Return chicken to skillet, add onion, cover. Simmer on low heat 25 to 30 minutes. Serve over steamed rice.
