CARL MESSER'S BEER BREAD 
3 c. self-rising flour
2 tbsp. sugar (or honey)
12 oz. cold beer
Butter

Stir flour, sugar and beer together. Pour into greased 4 x 7 inch pan. Bake 50 minutes. Remove from oven and coat top with butter. Bake 10 minutes longer.
