CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk
1 egg

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
Pinch of salt
3 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. light cream, egg, or canned milk

Sift together flour, salt, and cocoa. In separate bowl, cream together shortening, sugar, soda, milk, and egg. Mix all together and drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Put 1/2 large marshmallow, sticky side down, on each cookie. Bake 1 minute (no more, no less). Remove from oven; cool, then ice.

Frosting: Mix all ingredients together.
