MICROWAVE SPAGHETTI MEAT SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes, cut up
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. leaf basil
1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf

Place ground beef, onion, celery and garlic in 3 quart casserole dish. Cook, covered, on full power 4 to 5 1/2 minutes or until beef is no longer pink and vegetables tender. Stir half way through cooking time. Drain.

Stir remaining ingredients into casserole dish. Cook, covered on full power for 12-15 minutes or until boiling, continue cooking, covered until mixture has simmered and flavors are blended, or on cook level 4 for 14-16 minutes. Stir halfway through cooking time. Remove bay leaf.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
