PEANUT BRITTLE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo
1/4 c. water
2 c. raw shelled peanuts
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Bring to rolling boil sugar, syrup and water mixed together. Slowly add raw peanuts to keep a rolling boil until peanuts pop and brown (hard crack stage - 290 degrees). Remove from heat, add soda and salt. Pour onto foil covered cookie sheet.
