1 box vanilla wafers
1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 c. crushed pineapple (well drained)
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. Cool Whip
1 c. coconut

Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg yolks. Mix. Add pineapple and nuts. Put 1 heaping teaspoon between 2 vanilla wafers. Freeze. Remove from freezer and cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with coconut. Top with maraschino cherries - red or green.
