BAKED APPLES OR PEARS
(Microwave)
 
2 lg. baking apples or 2 firm pears
2 tsp. butter
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. golden raisins

Core apples and slit skin around the middle to prevent skin from bursting. Place apples in small individual baking dishes. Place butter in glass measure cup. Cook on (micro) on 50 for 30 seconds. Stir in sugar and cinnamon and raisins. Fill each apple with mixture. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook on high 4-5 minutes or until tender.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
