OVEN POACHED FISH | |
1 to 2 fillets per person 1 tbsp. butter per fillet Milk Paprika Salt Lemon Butt er, melted Slivered almonds Place fillets in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Almost cover fillets with milk. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons butter per fillet. Sprinkle each fillet with paprika. If fish are thawed, bake 10 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees. If frozen, bake 25 minutes. When finished fillets should have a flaky texture. Place fillets on a broiler pan and broil 1 to 3 minutes to brown lightly. Serve with lemon wedges drawn butter and sprinkle with slivered almonds. |
