| EASTER JELLO EGGS | |
|
1 dozen eggs 3 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello (various flavors) 4 pkg. Knox gelatin 2 tbsp. lemon juice 3 c. boiling water 1 c. cold water Add 1 cup of hot water to each color of Jello. Dissolve Knox gelatin in cold water and add lemon juice. Mix 1/3 of unflavored gelatin with each bowl of Jello. Blow out 1 dozen eggs. Fill with Jello. Refrigerate. Remove from refrigerator 1/2 hour before serving. Peel like a hard-boiled egg and serve on bed of green colored coconut. This is a terrific recipe to share with kids. They all love blowing out the eggs. It's a family tradition for my 6 brothers and 6 sisters. | |
