SWISS STEAK CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. steak, cut thick
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 c. pared quartered potatoes
2 c. pared sliced carrots

Rub steak with flour and salt; brown in oil. Place steak in roaster or covered pan. Place potatoes, onion and carrots in pan with steak. Pour in on cup hot water. Season vegetables. Bake in 300 to 325 degree oven for one hour or longer.
