FRIJOLES A LA CHARRA 
4 c. clean pinto beans
1 pkg. salt pork
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 lg. onion
1 can Ro-tel tomatoes
Salt to taste
Cilantro to taste

Put everything but cilantro in 3 1/2 quart crock pot. Fill crock pot with water until almost full. Cook on high overnight. This should be ready for bar-b-q on Sunday after cooking Saturday night. Put in cilantro to taste.

Leftover beans for chalupas. Drain juice. Put a cup at a time in blender until all is blended. Spread on chalupa shell. Add shredded cheese. Microwave on High for 30 seconds or until cheese is melted. Add chopped lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole or whatever you fancy.
