FRENCH SILK CHOCOLATE PIE 
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/8 c. sugar
4 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
3 eggs
1 baked and cooled pie shell

Cream butter, add sugar gradually. Blend in cocoa and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each, at medium speed. Chill in cooled pie shell 1 to 2 hours. Place whipped cream on top.

Note: Be sure to beat 5 minutes after adding each egg or pie will not turn out properly.
