OYSTER PIE 
1/4 lb. saltine crackers, crumbled
1 pt. standard oysters
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. water
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 stick butter

Grease the bottom of 9x9 inch square pan or a 9 inch deep dish pie pan. Place a layer of crumbled crackers on the bottom and top with a layer of oysters. Repeat with a layer of crackers, oysters and crackers.

Mix together the beaten eggs, salt, pepper, milk and water and pour this over the top. Dot the butter on the top and bake for 30 minutes at 450 degrees. Serves 4 to 6. A quick and delicious dinner for oyster lovers.
