HEALTHY TOLL HOUSE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. bag chocolate chips
2 c. oatmeal
1/4 c. wheat germ

Cream butter and peanut butter with sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix flours, soda and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients. Dough will be very stiff. Roll into balls, flatten slightly and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes. I usually bake them for 12 minutes, 6 minutes on bottom and 6 minutes on top rack.
