12 c. tofu slices


1 c. water
1 tbsp. Bragg's liquid amino
2 tsp. vegetable seasoning
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. savory
1/2 tsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. nutritional yeast

blend gravy together in a blender. Pour over slices or pieces of tofu that have been placed in a large baking tray. Cover with foil and bake at 450 to 500 degrees for about 20 minutes. Lift up corner of foil to see if tofu is boiling and swollen. If not, cook longer, remove foil and flip tofu over with a spatula and cover again with same piece of foil. Bake another 20 minutes. Remove foil and let bake in oven until sauce dries out and tofu is browned. Yields: 12 servings.
