BARBECUE SLAW 
4 c. shredded or chopped cabbage
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Dash red pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. vinegar

Drain moisture of cabbage. Mix cabbage with sugar, black and red pepper and salt. Add ketchup and vinegar. (Cabbage should be kept cool during the entire process). Refrigerate overnight for at least 2 or 3 hours in order for mixture to marinate.
