Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix: 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar
Add to mixture: 1 tsp. vanilla
Blend until powder: (best done in the blender) 2 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
Add to above mixture a little at a time. Add: 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda
Make sure all above ingredients are mixed. Add (very last) : 4 oz. Hershey bar (melted) 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Drop golf ball sized spoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Cook for 8 minutes, cookies will appear to be undone. Remove from cookie sheet to cool. Yield: approximately 3 dozen.
