3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 c. cream (sweet or sour)
2 c. flour

Beat the eggs, add salt and sugar. Add soda to buttermilk and add to egg mixture. Sift flour and baking powder. Add flour mixture and cream alternately to egg and buttermilk mixture.
