BREAD PUDDING WITH BRANDY SAUCE 
12 slices white bread
4 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg white
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. whipping cream
1/3 c. brandy

Cut bread in strips. Place 1/3 in a 11x7x2 inch pan. Top with mixture of egg, sugar, milk, applesauce and cinnamon. Repeat layers. Bake 1 hour, 325 degrees.

Brandy sauce: Beat egg white until stiff. Add sugar, egg yolk, whipping cream, butter. Stir in brandy.
