OATMEAL-COCONUT COFFEE CAKE 
CAKE:

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Pour boiling water over oats and let stand 20 minutes. Cream 1/4 cup butter and gradually add sugars, blend well. Add oats, stir well and then add next 6 ingredients and mix. Pour into greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Mix coconut and pecans; sprinkle over cake. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over cake, return to oven and bake until golden brown.
