LEMON 7 - UP POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
3 tbsp. lemon extract
3/4 c. 7-UP

Cream butter and sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add flour. Beat in lemon extract and 7-UP soda.

Pour into a very well-greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes. Place pan on a rack in an upright position and cool for 15 minutes. Loosen cake from sides of mold and around tube, invert on plate and shake out. Allow cake to cool before frosting. For a clear glaze, frost while warm.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice; drizzle over cake.
