BUTTERNUT SQUASH AND APPLES 
1-2 lbs. butternut squash, peeled and sliced
2 med. apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter

Layer sliced squash and apples. Mix brown sugar, salt, flour and cinnamon. Sprinkle between layers. Dot top with butter. Cover and bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Use a 2 quart casserole.
