LEMON POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
2 c. flour
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lemon extract

GLAZE:

1/3 c. icing sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice

Beat together all ingredients for 10 minutes. Beating is the main thing as that is your leavening. Bake in bundt pan, sprayed with Pam or other. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes, remove from pan.

Make the glaze and brush or spoon on hot cake. Cake freezes well.
