UNROLLED CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 lb. ground beef, lean
1 can tomatoes with juice
1 med. head cabbage
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Sour cream (optional)

Shred cabbage. Brown meat. Add onion and tomato juice to cook briefly. Add seasonings. Layer ingredients in 3 quart casserole as follows: Cabbage, meat mixture, cabbage, and tomato sauce. Cover; bake about 30 minutes. Serve with sour cream.
