FIREWEED JELLY 
4 c. fireweed buds (packed)
4 c. water
4 c. sugar
2 pkgs. Sure Jell
2 1/2 capfuls lemon juice

Boil flowers in water until blossoms lose color. Add lemon juice and Sure Jell. Boil 1 minute. Add sugar and boil (rolling) 1 minute. Skim foam from top. Pour into hot, sterilized jars. Top with paraffin or lids.
